Removing the Stigma is a local Cleveland nonprofit whose mission is to educate, empower, and offer hope to individuals while removing the stigma associated with mental illness and suicide. As a start-up organization, they needed a 2-3 year strategic plan to guide the organization towards specific goals and objectives.
Results:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Actively involved board members, staff, volunteers, donors, and other relevant individuals in the planning process.
- Strategic Priorities: Identified and prioritized key areas of focus to drive the organization’s mission and impact.
- Performance Measurement: Developed performance metrics and an evaluation framework to assess progress and effectiveness.
“Make Cleveland Better” (MCB) is an annual campaign sponsored by New Community Bible Fellowship (NCBF) in order to provide service and support to Northeast Ohioans who are experiencing hardship and at-risk situations. This is done by partnering with other nonprofit organizations that already address these issues well and providing volunteer service from members in the NCBF congregation and financial support in some cases.
Working with NCBF, we provided annual management of the initiative by being a liaison for community relations.
Results:
- Relationship Building: Established strong relationships with 13 local nonprofits through open communication and collaboration.
- Partnership Models: Developed and implemented successful partnership models with clear roles, responsibilities, timelines, and communication channels.
- Community Impact: Increased the number of community members served and amplified the impact on specific community issues, resulting in 7000+ service hours and the collection of 17,000 lbs. of personal care and food items.
